Salmon FFA offers students opportunities to develop skills in various areas such as animal science, plant production, agribusiness, and agricultural mechanics. Student Council

Student Council at Salmon High School offers numerous benefits to students who are elected to serve as leaders for their class. Each spring, students participate in an election process, where they campaign to represent their peers as decision-makers for the upcoming school year. Serving on the Student Council provides students with valuable leadership experience, as they are responsible for organizing school events, planning activities, and voicing the concerns and ideas of their classmates. Drug Free Youth

Salmon Drug Free Youth (DFY) is a dedicated group of high school students committed to changing the culture around drugs and alcohol in their school and community. With a focus on creating fun, engaging activities and events that are completely drug- and alcohol-free, DFY provides students with safe alternatives for socializing and making lasting memories. The group works to promote positive lifestyle choices by raising awareness about the risks of substance abuse, while also fostering a supportive environment where students can feel empowered to live clean and healthy lives. In addition to their efforts within the school, DFY reaches out to the broader community, working alongside local organizations to strengthen the town’s commitment to a cleaner, healthier future.
